North End Custom

This striking Northwest Modern residence is perched on a challenging hillside lot overlooking Commencement Bay in Tacoma. One of the defining features of the project was the extensive foundation and retaining wall system required to transform a steep, difficult site into a buildable homesite capable of supporting a three-level custom residence.

Through innovative engineering and substantial concrete construction, the design team created a unique garage level positioned below the main living spaces, allowing the home to maximize both views and functionality while maintaining a strong street presence. The exterior combines custom concrete panel systems, metal cladding, and warm wood accents to create a contemporary architectural statement that feels both modern and timeless.

Inside, expansive windows frame panoramic water views while open-concept living spaces seamlessly connect the kitchen, dining, and great room. The result is a custom home that showcases exceptional site planning, structural engineering, and architectural design while taking full advantage of its dramatic hillside location.

Contemporary Outdoor Living on Hood Canal

This waterfront project began as a proposed remodel of an existing home located along the Hood Canal in Kitsap County. Due to shoreline limitations, site constraints, and the proximity to the water, the homeowners ultimately decided to pursue a replacement residence that could better maximize the property while remaining within the existing footprint.

Pacific Home Source worked closely with the homeowners throughout the design process to develop a more functional layout, improve the overall flow of the home, and create a design that reflected the relaxed California casual aesthetic they envisioned. Our team also helped navigate Kitsap County shoreline management requirements and coordinated closely with consultants and industry professionals to help keep the project moving efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Special attention was given to the atmosphere and livability of the home, including collaboration with a lighting specialist to enhance the warmth, comfort, and overall experience of the interior and exterior spaces.

Contemporary Coastal Living on Hood Canal

Gig Harbor Traditional

This custom traditional residence was designed to combine timeless architectural character with the scale and functionality of a modern luxury home. Located in Gig Harbor, the project emphasizes detailed craftsmanship throughout, including exposed timber trusses, custom stonework, layered rooflines, and carefully integrated exterior detailing that give the home a warm and established presence.

Pacific Home Source worked closely with the homeowners and project team to develop a design that balanced elegance, durability, and livability while maintaining a strong connection to Pacific Northwest architecture. Special attention was given to the fine details throughout the home, from the structural timber elements and covered outdoor spaces to the carefully proportioned entry sequence and custom material selections. This Pacific Northwest boathouse rebuild was designed to embrace waterfront living while overcoming the unique challenges of building directly along the shoreline.
