This Pacific Northwest boathouse rebuild was designed to embrace waterfront living while overcoming the unique challenges of building directly along the shoreline. Due to the site’s proximity to the water, the project required careful planning, specialized foundation work, and coordination throughout construction to ensure the structure could be rebuilt safely and efficiently within a constrained coastal environment.
The homeowners had a strong vision for a modern Pacific Northwest aesthetic, combining warm cedar siding, exposed structural elements, expansive glazing, and indoor-outdoor living spaces that fully capture the surrounding views. Elevated decks, durable materials, and carefully integrated exterior spaces were designed to create a relaxed waterfront retreat that feels connected to the natural landscape.
Pacific Home Source worked closely with the clients and project team throughout the design and planning process to balance functionality, structural requirements, and architectural character. The completed project was brought to life by Olympic Ridge Construction and Eric’s team, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail helped execute the homeowners’ vision at a very high level. We are thrilled with how the project ultimately came together and how seamlessly the finished home fits within its waterfront setting.
